The enlarged shadows of anterior cervical soft tissue indicate that there are space-occupying lesions such as hematoma, abscess and tumors. Calcification of the nape ligament indicates that flexion injury occurred in the neck in the past.

If point A goes beyond the BC line, it is basilar depression; if DE is greater than or equal to BD, it indicates anterior spondylolisthesis of the annulus.

Lateral radiographs: The posterior arch of the annular vertebra is "ring" shaped, and many of them are subluxated with the annular-axis joint.
